What can an 800W plug-in solar system actually do?

These examples use realistic, stated assumptions to make the numbers easier to understand. Actual output varies with location, orientation, weather and shading, while the amount used at home depends on when your household consumes electricity.

Important: 800W is peak rated output, not a promise of continuous generation. In a grid-connected home, solar offsets demand while the grid supplies any shortfall.
